TESTIMONIALS:

“I use my voice for a living, and Kent Klineman’s voice yoga class is perfect for me - just the right blend of Hatha yoga stretching and non-stressful vocal exercises that not only give me a great workout but also add to my memory bank of prompts that help me use my voice properly without injury.”

—Bill Ratner Voice Actor

I have studied with Kent for nearly 10 years and what I have learned is invaluable to me as a professional actor.  How to be truthful, in the moment, how to connect with my partner, how to deepen my emotional response, to stay free and easy in my body/voice.  Above all how to develop and maintain all these crucial skills that an actor must have while having fun is what sets the studio apart from others....It's a Joyful place.
I recommend Kent  to anyone, beginner or seasoned pro who wants to take a deeper look in to acting as an art form!

Okay, so.  After many years of nothing related to the specific craft of acting in theatre, and many years from bigtime training, I experienced a super rush Wednesday night when I was lucky enough to have bought a Living Social voucher to attend a class of Kent Klineman here in the Los Angeles area. Look, not to pat myself on the back, but I KNOW talented teachers and Kent is one of them. I bought more classes. ;)
Kent's love of the craft is pure and strong.  There are a few mentions of the Meisner Technique, but I feel there's more - it is amongst his training (he studied) but you don't get hit over the head with it.  And it's really not about what technique, it's about Kent.  And so far, I dig this.  He keeps the class relatively small - pretty damn small actually.  It's kinda all levels in a room.  I didn't care.  Didn't matter.
Look, if it hadn't rocked my world I'm pretty sure I would've looked further to see who was out there for some training at this point in my life.  Honestly, in two seconds I probably would've been out the door because I want it RIGHT and look, let's face it - there are lame classes out there.  And, for me, there's no time to waste.  Time is valuable, and I ain't no sprang chickpee.
GO.  Seriously - he's not paying me for this
